So, after weeks of pulling my hair out trying to be a graphic designer, I have almost completed the cd liner and artwork! Man, writing songs is the easiest part of this project by far! Kudos to any one working in the visual arts! It is a talent for sure! I have no visual eye whatsoever, I am not ashamed to admit...so I had some wonderful people help me and give good advice. Thanks Tennille for giving me your time and opinions!!

The countdown to the release date begins....March 1st!!

So, I am almost finished album #3!! I spent the last year writing and recording and generally having the best time ever with the most amazing people. Terry Paholek engineered and helped me produce 12 new tunes, and my favorite guys busted their butts with some really great tracks. I can't wait to post some tunes for everyone to hear. Hope all is well, Cheers!!!

Heyo! Man, has it been a crazy week! We have all been working our butts of rehearsing, recording, and getting up to no good! The show at Shade Lounge was great! 102.3 Now Radio Looked after us really well, and some of our most coolest pals showed up! We hung out and listened to the Secretaries perform ( we didn't want to be rude and go upstairs and drink the entire rider on them), and completely enjoyed the after show perfomed by the incredible Cap'n 'Brian, who was at his finest! Friday and Saturday in Drayton Valley were a blast! Theresa and Andrea drove out to hang with us, and we had a guest drummer on Saturday who was awesome! J Buecks did a great job! AND by popular demmand, I have now started a 'Quotes' page... check it out weekly to stay up to date on the latest world-changing and mind...

Now 102.3 Radio has been putting on some indie show to promote Edmonton artists, Yay 102.3!! Thursday, August 19, we will be playing a show at Shade 105 in Edmonton with The Secretaries, so looking forward to it! I did a radio interview today with Rebecca Paige... she is a very cool lady! Cheers!
Where did time go? wow, I can't beleive I have left this long between writing here.... sorry.... its been kinda crazy around HMB headquarters. New bass player!! new tunes!! new album in the works!! Its all crazy good! Lucky for us, Brian Vincent came in with the breeze on a Sunday morning and gave us all a good kick in the ass, and we love him for it. With enough encouragement from the ladies, he has been known to drop drawers and get on a good hump dance atop the speakers.... 7 nation Army baby! yeah the boy can groove! I have been writing tunes and working on my next album, hope to start recording in November. Always working, always singing... just the way it should be! Next gig is at Lyve On Whyte, come on down!! Hey Everyone Sorry I haven't updated this in a while, been crazy busy! I am so happy to say that I have received a grant from Rawlco Radio to record a new album! I have been writing new songs and getting everything organized to make this happen. We are ready to start on October 5th! Yee Hah! Make sure to have a listen to Magic 99, they will air my 'studio blog' and post it on thier website to keep everyone informed on the recording process. Should be very cool! Thank you so much for coming out to our gigs and supporting the band. We are taking a bit of a break to concentrate on this new album, but will start doing shows again in January. Stay groovy!

** Friday night we made 180 bucks off of cd sales and donated it to Kids with Cancer, and Saturday's Mulletfest brought us another 200 bucks to donate. There are some incredibly generous people in this city....thanks!!!! Wil from Team 1260 ditched his mullet to raise funds for this cause and ended up having his entire head shaved, thus reclaiming his 'hot guy' status once again. The club raised alot of $$$ for kids with cancer...KUDOS!! * ** Check back here often for new gig dates, some big stuff is in the works. Hope to rock with all of you again soon! Toodles, Heather **
